Volexion
Volexion, a startup based on research from Prof. Mark Hersam's lab, is developing advanced material coatings for components used in lithium-ion batteries and future battery models. Their proprietary graphene materials increases batter power by about 10 times, improves battery life cycle and reduces battery costs by nearly one third. The coatings also reduce battery emissions and are appropriate for a wide variety of products, ranging from electric vehicles to drones to power tools.
