Free MATLAB and Simulink Access for Northwestern-Affiliated Startups
Accelerate Your Startup with MathWorks
INVO is pleased to offer Northwestern-affiliated startups access to the MathWorks Accelerator Partnership Program. Through this partnership, eligible startups can receive one year of complimentary access to MATLAB®, Simulink®, and related engineering software tools used by leading technology companies, research institutions, and engineering teams around the world.
This opportunity is available to startups affiliated with Northwestern University, including those emerging from Northwestern intellectual property (IP), the Querrey InQbation Lab, The Garage, and other INVO-supported innovation and entrepreneurship programs. The program is designed to help startups accelerate product development, prototyping, testing, and commercialization while reducing software costs during the critical early stages of growth.
First-Year Accelerator Partnership Benefits
Through the INVO–MathWorks Accelerator Partnership, eligible startups may receive one year of complimentary access to:
- Up to 10 software licenses per company
- MATLAB, Simulink, and more than 100 additional toolboxes
- Technical support from MathWorks engineering experts
- Access to MATLAB Central, MathWorks' global user community
- More than 100 hours of online MathWorks training
- Interactive Onramp courses to help teams get started quickly
- Opportunities to participate in co-marketing activities that can help increase visibility for your company and products

Interested startups must first register with INVO using the following link: MathWorks Interest Form
Following registration, eligible startups will receive information on how to access the MathWorks Accelerator Partnership Program and obtain their complimentary one-year software licenses.
Continue Growing with the MathWorks Startup Suite Program
Following the first year of complimentary access, startups may be eligible to participate in the multi-year MathWorks Startup Suite Program, which provides continued access to MathWorks software and services at special startup pricing.
