Shivesh Ghura, PhD

Shivesh joined INVO in September 2026 as an Invention Associate with the Life Sciences team. In his current role, he supports the evaluation and commercialization of Northwestern technologies, including intellectual property protection, licensing, and efforts to advance innovations from discovery toward real-world application.

Prior to joining INVO, Shivesh conducted postdoctoral research at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and gained experience in technology commercialization through the Penn Center for Innovation and in strategy consulting at L.E.K. Consulting. His technical background spans biotechnology, bioengineering, computational biology, neuroscience, and immunology.

Shivesh received his MS in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Illinois Chicago and his PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
