Mesh Suture has developed an "integrated" suture that is designed to facilitate and allow tissue to integrate and grow into the suture itself. Such properties provide advantages over standard sutures; these advantages include improved tensile strength, reduced suture pull-through, reduced wound dehiscence, reduced incidence of foreign body infection, and improved healing.
