Dimension Inx, based on research from former Northwestern Prof. Ramille Shah's lab, is creating next-generation biomaterials and 3D-printed bioactive structures that enable organ and tissue regeneration and repair
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Senior Product Manager (SPM) will report directly to the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development. The SPM will have a direct role in creating a new portfolio of solutions that heal and restore people’s lives through Dimension Inx’s regenerative biomaterials platform. This role will implement strategy through New Product Development (NPD). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the functional lead to help build a new portfolio of regenerative tissue products
- Benchmark competitive products, capabilities, and services
- Create conceptual product platforms and strategies on execution
- Conduct competitive intelligence and monitor emerging technologies
- Deliver market assessments and segmentation of regenerative clinical solutions space
- Analyze prospective market opportunities and build product sales projections
- Create and execute product launch plans for new products
- Manage new product research and all upstream activities of NPD
- Develop and create product specifications based on customer and market needs
- Generate marketing and business plans to drive NPD
- Work directly with and develop clinician KOL’s for new technology
- Work with R&D and Project Engineers on 2 or more NPD projects at a time
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS degree, Engineering (preferred), Business/Marketing also acceptable
- Advanced degree is a plus (e.g., MBA)
- 5-7 years of experience in Upstream and Downstream Product Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a MedTech or Pharma/Biotech product focused organization
- Previous experience managing a product portfolio of 2 or more products
- 510K, PMA, IND and/or BLA background highly desired
- Preclinical and clinical trial familiarity a plus
- Understanding and experience with developing products within a stage gate NPD process
- Demonstrated ability to define new products and carry through development and commercialization
- Experience with post market launch monitoring and research
- Excellent communication (written, oral, visual) and strong business acumen
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management
- Extreme levels of intellectual capacity, creativity in problem-solving, and entrepreneurial drive
