Blockchain Distribution Network
Speed, Scale, and Security for the Decentralized World

Problem
Blockchain networks, while revolutionary, face persistent challenges: slow transaction propagation, network congestion, and latency bottlenecks. These issues limit scalability, reduce trading efficiency, and expose users to risks such as frontrunning in decentralized finance (DeFi). For traders, validators, and developers, milliseconds can mean the difference between profit and loss, inclusion or exclusion in the next block.
Solution
bloXroute's Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN) introduces a private, high-speed data distribution layer that sits beneath existing blockchain protocols. Acting as a Layer0 solution, the BDN accelerates the propagation of blocks and transactions across nodes, ensuring faster communication and higher block inclusion rates.
Key features include ultrafast transaction propagation that is 400–600 milliseconds faster than traditional providers, enabling users to receive and act on blockchain data more quickly. Enhanced mempool data provides earlier visibility into trading signals, helping users identify opportunities before they appear elsewhere. Protected transaction capabilities help shield users from frontrunning while enabling more secure transaction execution. The platform also offers innovative features such as BackRunMe and Priority Fee Refund, which allow users to earn kickbacks and receive refunds generated through transaction arbitrage.
The Blockchain Distribution Network has established itself as critical infrastructure for the digital asset ecosystem, serving as the de facto network layer for major blockchains including Ethereum and Solana and facilitating more than $5 billion in daily asset transfers.”

Technology & Commercialization Status
The Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN) traces its origins to research led by McCormick Professor Aleksandar Kuzmanovic, whose work in high-performance networking and distributed systems explored new approaches to improving scalability and efficiency in decentralized networks. Building on this academic foundation, bloXroute was established to bring these concepts into production, developing the BDN as a Layer-0 network designed to address data propagation bottlenecks across blockchain ecosystems.
Today, the BDN is deployed across major DeFi ecosystems, serving traders, MEV searchers, validators, and developers who rely on fast, reliable, and low-latency data delivery. By accelerating transaction and block propagation, the network helps improve market efficiency, reduce orphaned blocks, and enhance the performance of latency-sensitive applications.
As blockchain adoption continues to expand, the BDN has emerged as a key component of the industry’s infrastructure stack, helping networks scale more effectively while supporting the next generation of high-performance decentralized applications.
In July 2026, bloXroute was acquired by FalconX, a leading digital asset prime broker.
